A Note From Raquel

Building a strong sisterhood can make all of the difference. In my book, Beyond Enough: How to Lead with Your Whole Self, I have a Women Helping Women section because no one gets to the top alone - you need help. You need a team of passionate people that believe in you and your work. We want to help you discover that at WoPC 2019.

I’m thrilled to share this journey with an incredible team of volunteers, work stream coordinators, project managers and our WoPC 2019 Co-Chairs: Barb Smith and Kathleen Buse, Ph.D. Together, we’ll all working to present a meaningful, impactful and fun conference for you. Please join us.

Dear Friends,

In 2018 I had the honor to attend and present two workshops at the Woman of Power Conference (WoPC). The day went by quickly and I realized that this conference was much different than other conferences I have attended in the past. The event was organized to help the participants build skills and competencies important to their own individual dreams AND I literally saw that happening throughout the day. That is the reason that I am co-chairing the 2019 WoPC. The conference, under Raquel’s leadership, has grown because it has been designed to help ALL attendees build skills and competencies, no matter what career stage or profession or industry. The ability to network with other women and hear their stories is a great benefit to attending.

Please join me and other NE Ohio leaders for the WoPC conference this year.

WoPC 2019 Co-Chair

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

KeyBank is once again a proud sponsor of the Woman of Power Conference and I could not be more thrilled to be one of this year’s conference co-chairs. As Director of KeyBank’s Key4Women program and co-chair of their Women’s Network employee resource group, I have the distinct pleasure of engaging with women leaders, business owners and organizations from across the country with a common mission of helping women achieve financial wellness and success.

Teaming up with the Woman of Power Conference allows me to help bring a full day of networking and leadership resources to women leaders and future leaders of our Northeast Ohio community.

I hope you will join me and other leaders from across the area for what is promised to be a rewarding day of learning, engaging and tackling some of the common challenges that can hold us back from realizing our goals.

Sincerely,

Barb Smith
